The following features and tools have been updated in Canvas for the spring '21 semester:

Add Misc. Course Participants: This tool, available in the lefthand navigation bar in all Canvas courses, allows users to grant Canvas course site access to individuals who are not formally affiliated with the course. Please see How to Add Misc. Course Participants for more. 

Panopto: All courses are set up with Panopto—a video management system—in the lefthand navigation bar. Panopto integrates with Zoom and offers a user friendly way to quickly and automatically import Zoom recordings to your Canvas course. Faculty can also use Panopto to record and edit course videos. The McGraw Center provides support and training for Panopto as part of the Canvas project. Please see Overview of Panopto for more information. 

Ed Discussion: Ed has been updated to LTI 1.3 which allows for the roster in Ed to be synched with the Canvas roster. Please see Ed Discussion for more.  

VoiceTread: We have updated to VoiceThread's newest assignment version. Please see VoiceThread for more information.
